The new Zelda game for Gamecube which is currently just known as Zelda Gamecube or Celda, will be a brand new gaming experience, not like any other Zelda or Videogame ever known before. Even though this game will carry on the gameplay from the N64 Zelda games, Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask, it has some brand new features that will set it apart from the previous games. The biggest and most important change, is the new 'Cell-Shading' concept that this game will be using. With the new cartoon-style, this game will be full of new surprises. For instance, the characters facial-expressions will change upon the way they feel. If a character is angry, sad, happy or mad, you will clearly be able to tell this by looking at the character's face. This will surely give the game a more personal feel, and result in giving the gamer a feeling of getting to know the character(s) better than in the previous games.

It also seems very likely that this game takes place in a different time period than the previous games, because Link now has got both a Sister named Arill, and a Grandmother. In the earlier Zelda games, a Sister was not even mentioned. However, we do know that the Father and Creator of the Legend of Zelda series, has confirmed that this game will be the first Zelda game in the Chronological Timeline. This again boosts our thoughts that the Link in this game is another Link than the one who appeared in the N64 games.
The storyline of this game is very interesting and mysterious as well. Link and his family (Sister and Grandmother) are celebrating Link's birthday. After having a chat with his Grandmother, Link goes to meet his Sister, Arill. Arill has got a gift prepared for Link; A Telescope! When trying his new telescope, Link discovers a huge bird which is kidnapping a man. At the same time, a Pirateship (It can be assumed that the man, is infact the captain of this ship) ship arms the cannons, and hits the bird which drops the Captain. Arill convinces Link into helping the Captain. While Link is busy doing this, the Big-Bird strikes again, only this time it has got Arill! Link is ready to face his perhaps hardest and most challenging adventure yet!

This storyline infact brings a few interesting questions. For instance, who is behind the kidnapping? Well, we know nothing for sure, but a wild guess has to be Link's arch-enemy, Ganondorf Dragmire himself!
It is also worth mentioning that Link has got, for the first time ever in a Zelda game, got his own vehicle; A boat. This boat will be used for transportation between the many islands in the landscape which the game takes place.
Another new addition to this game, is the Talking Stone! Yes, you heard me. Well actually, this has been misunderstood by many. The stone that will be taking over the position of the fairies Navi and Tatl (OOT and MM) as Link's guide through the game, is not a talking stone. It is a magic stone that lets the person who gives Link this stone communicate with Link, and even watch his every move! Now the big question is: Who is it that gives Link this stone and guides him through the game? Currently, this remains a mystery, but you can count on that we will solve it very soon.

In this game, Link's emotions can be read from his facial-expressions!
